Our way West Journey
My beautiful Abigaile in Gods eyes - she is strength and full of faith. In mans definition she is "Joy" she lives true to her name..
God is working so HUGE in our lives! I have so much to update and so little time right now. I have a new blog site and am trying to transition. Apparently, this blog site which is blogger won't accept my gmail address to change addresses. I would like to add it to my other blogs, I have one for our family, and others for the home business that God has blessed us with. It won't accept my gmail though even though the others did. If anyone can clarify this for me and how to fix it please email me! I am so frustrated with it. I really want to keep this blog as this blog is the infirmity that leads to the healing in so many ways.
God bless you supernaturally for all those who are praying for us. We finally found a church home, bless the Lord for that we have been at conferences all week! It is so awesome, was time to do some "soaking up of the Holy Spirit".
I will update more this weekend, we also have a caringbridge site that I will update as well.
The blessings of God we love you, thank you for praying for us ....
in His service,
Paris

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Time to update everyone, well as much as possible as to where things are with our Abigaile and family. Let me first say that God is God and that is where we stand!
We believe that with every ounce we have in us, our entire family that Abigaile is healed. We have been standing on Isaiah 53:5 that says Jesus took those infirmities no matter what they are called, what the reports say and no matter who has given with what kind of education we believe she is healed!
We had an appointment with the real- Dr. who has been treating Abigaile since day 1. We had labs drawn, went to Florida to visit the man who has actually been praying for her and has been the only one who has treated anything to do with her care now. He has been such a blessing to our family I hope that Dr. J. knows this! We got some news while in Florida that some of the labs was showing not such a good level for Abigailes thyroid. In fact, it was failing. We came back home and have started her on thyroid medications. So far she has only been able to tolerate 1/2 the dose that she has ordered. As soon as she can tolerate this, it will be time for labs again we are getting close.
Abigaile has had treatment before with HBOT and combined with her therapies she really made strides. We have prayed about it and I can't tell you how chaotic it is to have a child with the needs that she does and she has improved, it is just mom is getting tired from no breaks.
We have discussed the type of care, and following from a credible Dr such as Dr J who is knowledgable in treating kiddos with these types of issues and feel that it is necessary to do what we have to do to move to the S. Cal. area to get full-time treatment for her.
We have been hesitant to move in the past because of the job, but feel that if any parent were faced with this decision they wouldn't hesitate. We have dealt with Dr.s and therapists who didn't know how to treat Abigaile. We aren't getting the necessary equipment for her needs. We flat out are isolated where we are at and wish to be a part of others who are making a difference and ministering to these families and children. We don't have any tentative dates for moving yet. What we are doing is looking for a home to rent in the Irivine Ca. area or close by, and if need be, the girls and I will move and Allen can visit until the job spot opens for him. We are blessed by God and believe that He will provide all our needs according to His riches in glory. Phil. 4:19. So we are cleaning out, packing and believing God to show us big things in our present and future. He is no respector of persons.
We all feel peace with this decision. It is a big decision and it is a little intimidating but we will be okay. We have been in the desert before, and I'm sure it will happen again. Do you ever think that is God saying... Hello, uh you, yeah you, Are you listening? I'm trying to send you like Jonah, and you missed the boat! I have told God many times over, here I am send me, so I have to believe He is sending me.
I am still going to do Abigailes Foundation here in NW Arkansas for the equipment ministry, I am working on getting someone in place to help. Allen will do so until he moves with us. We don't know yet if this is a permanent move but feel it is the right direction for now to go.
Prayer requests: God and only God, absolutely God, nothing but God in our decisions, in our actions, in our will! Pray for Abigailes body that the thyroid and any other functions of her body that need to straighten up and work as God has designed them to work! God created her in His image, so everything she has, is in the image of God (He is perfect) her organs, functions, everything in her body will function as He designed it to do. Gen. 1:27. I'll end with saying I love God more than ever He is always there for me even when I have not understood His ways. I will ask for prayer like Solomon, and ask God for His Wisdom, Peace, and Strength.
James 1:5-6 NIV5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him. 6But when he asks, he must believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.
I am not doubting, are you ? Thank you for your prayers as always and words of encouragement from my fellow caringbridge peeps, love you all,
Paris

Easter and a new season...
Praying for direction... Having Faith.. Believing that you will only get the direction from God for you and for your family. That is where we are at. I know that God has His best interest, and our best interest at heart. We are His kids He knows what is best. We know that after all we have gone through in seven years that we didn't always understand we didn't always feel like we agreed with has turned out the best for us. There are still some things that we area seeking His wisdom on, always.
Our trip to Florida was a good trip. It was nice just to drive, be in the car as a family. Talk about things we don't normally get to talk about. We were able to share dreams with each other of what we have been thinking for the past seven years, but haven't got to always say to each other. It is a crazy life when you have a child that has so many needs. We are truly blessed to have each other and be able to share with each other what is on our hearts. We also know that we all have the same desire, the same love for God to do passionately what He wants for us. So, God what we have said over and over, "here we are, send us!
Abigailes visit with Dr. J. went well. He is truly a kind and understanding physician as well as a understanding parent. It is easy to relay to him that we aren't all crazy. We have had some pretty extensive, complex issues that we have been dealing with. We have always had God, not that we haven't made some wrong turns, we have but we ask for God guidance and people to pray for us. We had labs done before we left so that Dr. J. would have them when we got there. They apparently didn't run all the labs, or didn't get all the lab results back but we did get some thyroid results back that are going to be rerun. Once we get those results then we will go from there.
We are also trying a new therapy for Abigaile for her seizures (the ones that we were told are rare and likely untreatable) well she hasn't had a seizure until we don't give her this one ingredient and it is a food. Amazing! We are doing some more extensive study on it but so far we have been doing this for over a week now and I believe the power of food and God but this cracks me up! I'll share more later on it.
We just have so many changes going on in our lives right now, exciting God movement, only things that God can bring to pass but I will need to do another post for that. Please check our family blog out for that as well. A great way to share how our trip ended in Florida was just beautiful I hope to post some pictures later. Please don't laugh at the bright legs though. You can tell we are still winterized, ha ha we got a little bit of sun but were sunburn phobic when we went and it was cold for the first several days we were in Jacksonville. We had to go to Orlando, and a day or two before we left it actually started warming up. I pray that you are blessed and I thank you for your prayers they mean a lot to our family. Keep on, keeping on for God, He is always good all the time and will never let you down!

Believing God for big things, drawing nearer to HIM
I love fasting, well I don't initially because my flesh says I'm really hungry... but after about the 3rd day I am doing better and I litterally look at three days increments. Here is a really great recipe that I found and I manipulated it a bit to fit the Daniel fast. I love drawing nearer to God, He is so awesome and so fatithful! I hope you enjoy!
Crispy Breakfast bars with Almond Butter
Whole Grain Puffed Cereal – 7 cups (I used arrowhead puffed brown rice )
Organic Dried Cranberries
3/4 cupRaisins or Dried Blueberries
3/4 cup (I used raisins)
3/4 cup Sliced Almonds, toasted
Ground Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
3/4 cup Honey
1/4 tsp salt
1 plus 2TBSP cup Almond Butter –
** you can add margarine if you are not fasting. Margarine/Unsalted Butter – 2 tablespoons.
1. Stir together cereal, dried fruit, nuts and cinnamon (if using) in large bowl.
2. Put syrup, almond butter and soy margarine (whichever you are using) in large, microwave-safe measuring cup.
3. Microwave 1 and 1/2 minutes on high, or until hot and margarine has melted.
4. Stir well, then pour over cereal mixture.
5. Stir to coat.
6. Dampen hands with cold water.
7. Press cereal mixture firmly into 9×9 inch baking pan (I didn’t have this, so I used 13×9 inch nonstick baking pan), re-wetting hands if necessary to keep mixture from sticking.
8. Freeze 30 minutes. I covered the pan with plastic wrap before putting it in the freezer.
9. Cut into 15 bars, and store in refrigerator up to 5 days.
Make sure to whip some air into the peanut butter once it is melted to make it lighter so it will incorporate well with the cereal and not make it mushy. You could add any kind of dried fruits and nuts in lieu of the fruits and nuts.

ANSWERED PRAYER .... KIDWALK GAIT TRAINER
I had a little bit of down time today to start out at the hospital. Thanks to my back and not going to the Dr. for quite some time. It is just too difficult and I really don't want to see a hospital or Dr.s office after Abigaile going so much. It is difficult to explain but after going so much with her that is the last place I want to see.
I wanted to update all of our angels out there who have been praying for us and Abigaile on the status of the Kidwalk gait trainer. We received a letter from our insurance last week finally approving it! Yeah, all that perserverance and prayer paid off! God is faithful! I can tell you thousands of times, God is faithful. You have to trust Him with it and totally let go of it. As long as you have your will in it, it might take a little bit longer to obtain.
I contacted the equipment company and they were turning in the order it will still take they said 6-8 weeks initially, and then said it might be 4-6 weeks. We will pretty much have to re-train Abigaile she has not used one in some time. We also need new AFOs it looks like because there is one of them that doesn't fit correct, never really has. So if you are waiting on a prayer, don't be double minded, don't be doubtful, kick it in to gear and get like-minded believers praying and raising your request, your need, your necessity, to God no matter how insurmountable it is. I am believing that this is only a start for us, just like the song says "Greater things are yet to come !
Thank you so much for your prayers and continued faith we are so thankful! It is a New Year !
Now if God would just do something about this really cold -12 wind chill and cold, cold weather. I know some of you out there prayed for cold weather and snow, okay I can handle the snow, we love you all, but you can keep your cold weather:)
much love and praying for blessings for you,
Paris
