Message of a New Year filled with HOPE! Its a four letter word!

I am so thankful for my friends and family. This has truly been a challenging year, so has the past 6 years! I am still thankful we have a loving God! Psalm 103 Praise the Lord O my soul and forget not His benefits, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases!
I am thankful that we have such a loving and faithful God that we can know we depend on. I am so thankful that Jesus took those infirmities for us so that we have complete healing and restoration.
I am looking for a new year, not just New Years. God has promised us a future of life and not destruction. I pray these things for you and your families.
I pray for those of you who have had challenges this year, that the Lord bless you and keep you and that 2010 is a new year, make sure your resolution is in God we trust! I pray for health and healing and prosperity in all things.
Holman Illustrated dictionary defines divine healing as Gods work through instruments and ways He chooses to bring health to persons physically ,emotionally, and spiritually. In the book of Acts, the healing ministry continued...
We still have some challenges to overcome, and I am standing on the Word of God to believe that we will overcome.
1 Cor. 12:26-27 says if one part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it. Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
We all suffer and hurt when we hear of all those that are suffering and we applaud when we all hear good things about each others health. My prayer for you and your families for this new year is health and healing and May God bless you like you have never been blessed before. There is HOPE in Christ.

with much love in Christ,

Paris

getting ready for a new season

We have had a pretty eventful day today. Abigaile started out pretty good and started having a rough afternoon. It started with therapy today. I can't explain what happened it all happened so quick. Abigaile is so quick, even though she is crawling, this is her way to get around but she gets where she is going. Mainly she likes to stop and watch momma cooking in the kitchen. She is really cute.
Today Natascha got rid of her stitches in her forehead, the violet niva was benign, yeah Praise God for that. She was happy though. We are still cleaning the area and knowing in a few days it will be healed.
I am trying to work on my final that is due tomorrow and then I will have a two week break. Time to clean out the clutter!
We aren't writing on the caringbridge site much because Abigaile has been pretty uneventful lately in the area of hospitals, and medical issues. I know she is healing and it just takes time for her little body to cope. What is so sweet is, when she does feel bad, or has a seizure she starts quoting Isiah 53:5, she can't repeat all of it but she knows to say, "by His stripes we are..... healed". I am so thankful that she has that planted. You can tell her that "greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world" and she will clap.
I am thankful for two very beautiful little girls that love God with all their heart. I am thankful for a very handsome, sweet, and loving husband that loves me with all his heart. I am thankful for what God has given me starting with Him first, and He gave His son Jesus for all our sins. I am thankful for the family that God has given me and I know He loves me.
Well its almost time this weekend to start working on those Christmas gifts, still have a couple to buy, and a some stocking stuffers. I know I keep reminding myself that God is in control. Please pray for the families that are out there on caringbridges there is a lot of sickness, cancers, disease, and hurt please pray they find Gods peace and tranquility and they are forever wrapped in His Love always!
be blessed in the Lord, for He is good all the time!

Healthcare reform-less

To whom it may concern,
Mr. XXXXXX
My daughter is six years old we live in Rogers, Arkansas . I can not tell you how sickened I am about the new health care reform. It is more like health care welfare! What an incentive to get people who are already in the system to stay in the system.
In 2004 my daughter had an adverse reaction to a vaccine. We have been fighting for five very long years to get compensation and help with our daughter. We have lost our job in three different occasions and lost our home, our second car, and have done without necessities of health care for our family otherwise.

Our daughter has had multiple medical needs, and is a complex case that we had to sign up for the first visit to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, our state insurance. It is a far cry from Insurance. It insures you not. Our daughter has been neglected care, benefits, and much needed equipment need to get her through this. We don't have a tentative settlement date because our own government is refusing to pay for the medical care that she needs, equipment that she needs, and her basic daily living that has been terribly affected by this vaccine injury.

Our family has gotten absolutely no support, just a lot of rhetoric, more paper with denials, we were lost off of the Medicaid waiver system, only to have to wait two more years when we have waited five already.

We aren't going to have to worry about our health care, our Medicare, Medicaid or anything else in this country unless we take care of our children, medically, financially, physically and spiritually! I am appalled that the people who are making these decisions aren't talking to the families that are affected by these decisions. I also challenge our local leaders why we do not have people that are advocating for these families and children?

I have fought for five very long years only to go through agencies as a secondary measure because we have not gotten the necessary resources from the government who determined that the vaccines were safe in the first place. Second, I have gone through the state welfare-less medical system (government ran healthcare) to get services for my daughter to no avail. I have every denial for everything and anything, basic needs that would help her to be a part of society again. I have gone also through tertiary agencies who inform me they don't have funds, I can name these if needed, you would be surprised, they are the ones claiming they are helping to get children equipment and other resources they need. They have not helped me or my family in any way in five years. I am embarrassed to be in the position I am and didn't ask for it. The only thing that has gotten my family where it is and kept us from being homeless is God and the government is even trying to take that away. Shame on you! I know that my family is not the only family dealing with this; can you believe there are families afraid someone is going to take a measly $500 away from them a month for taking care of their child if they say something? I am going to fight and keep fighting and until I can find some one in the administration who is interested in fighting for our children who have needs.

Sincerely,
Paris Golec

Prayer...

I just wanted to say before anything else that we are praying for another caringbridge family in Arkansas. Their daughter received her angel wings this morning and went to meet Jesus.
http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/hannahgracecrumby please keep this family in your prayers.

Abigaile had two more seizures today. The first she woke up with . The second was last just over 5 minutes and so we called the ambulance. They did have a good response time. The girls were ill this past week and I really felt they were over it. We also tried Abigaile on a new food so we are taking her off for a couple of days, or this weekend then we will reintroduce it again. We are getting a refill however for the Diastat.

We are thankful for the much needed prayers and are so apprceciative.

Gods blessing,

Paris

Update on equipment and Ketogenic diet...

So very tired today but wanted to update everyone. We are still working on trying to get the gait trainer. The gait trainer Mrs Amy was working on fell through, but that is okay God has something better for us.
We tried Abigaile on a new juice day before yesterday and also gave her pasta, I'm thinking our organic foods that we are paying for are not as organic as they are saying. Abigaile can not tolerate even the organic sugar. She had five seizures night before last and they were spread out enough all night that none of us slept and we finally got her to sleep and she had a fluid release and woke up in a seizure. This never gets any easier. I hate seizures and feel they need to loose the children and adults on this earth and flee back to the very pitt of hell where they came from! We went to church yesterday and drove around a bit last night to look at Christmas lights. This year was the first year Abigaile has really been able to see the lights from her car seat.
We are on hold right now for the Ketogenic diet as Abigailes dairy came back positive and until we can make certain she can tolerate the dairy. I am assured by the Amish farmers in Pa. that they do not feed corn or grains to their cows. Very expensive to get, it is $12 per qt. and $22 to ship. It has to be shipped overnight because it is raw and to avoid spoilage. This would be the majority of her diet but her neurologist at LeBonheur believes this will stop the drop attack seizures. It is getting too difficult for me to carry her and to move her from upstairs to downstairs so we are praying about where God would send us next. We anxiously await His orders. If He got me to it, He will get me through it.
Going to be praying about some really big decisions to make in the near future. We are needing God to show us in a big way how He wants us to handle them.
I pray its somewhere warm:) Florida would be nice!

Happy Thanksgiving!

A THANKSGIVING TO REMEMBER !

Update on Abigaile and equipment. I have a link that I am posting, I hope I can post it here, if not then make sure to pull up Abigaileg@blogspot.com to see this absoulutely amazing thing that happened today. This is a blessing from God! I am so thankful for this family. I have been trying to get equipment for so long, mans way, and having faith. Well faith doesn't always work with mans way. You gotta know somebody, or you have to have done something for someone else and it is paying back time you know the ritual.

We have been attending Keypoint Church in Bentonville since about March 2009. We had to move during that time and we were able to meet some really special people that helped us from the church to move to our new apartment. We have been truly blessed since attending Keypoint church. I am putting the link in this post for you to listen to this precious lady at our church; their family is so sweet and so sincere they have prayed for us through the battles we have been fighting with the equipment. I want you to listen to it and then I will finish the rest of the story. If there is anyone who has ever doubted that God exists, let me tell you people, He is real, He exists, He is ALIVE! and He answers prayers. Listen to this ! and check your faith!

We are so thankful to God and we are thankful that God has servants at heart like Amy and Derrick Hessman in our lives that are a blessing to us. We are thankful to KLRC as well for being a blessing. They went on our behalf to the throne room of God and partitioned where Amy saw a resource and God has answered our prayers. God is faithful in His word where two or more are gathered in my name, there will He be also.

Abigaile needed a very specialized gait trainer that will help Abigaile to learn how to walk and straighten her gait. We filed our personal insurance, our secondary insurance, and I have called every agency from here to Little Rock consistently since 2005 trying to get this walker for our child. This gait trainer will help to keep Abigaile secure in it so that she doesn't fall and get hurt when she has a drop seizure. All of the agencies I spoke to have not had any funds for us for the gait trainer. I knew that if we were persistent that we would get the gait trainer, that God would make it possible. He has worked through this awesome family to show it. Amy was able to find the walker on craigs list, it is barely used, and the lady will take less for it than she was originally, so God please bless her too. Amy then took the "pay it forward" from KLRC and put it aside and they have gotten a couple of other donations and they are believing that Abigaile will be riding in her new gait trainer that is a blessing from God through vessels like the Hessman family!
I am so thankful that God has put special people like Derrick and Amy and their family into our lives. Never give up if you don't have the money, or run out of resources, you can never run out of GOD! He's too big, and He's too much, He never allows lack. So this is an awesome and thankful time for us and we can't thank you enough to the Hessmans for being ACTIVE servants of God! We love you all !
Allen, Paris, Natascha, and Abigaile.

P.S. (what will she do to those bookshelves now:)

LeBonheur trip in Memphis

Natascha is such a beautiful young lady and she always has been. She has had the best attitude and disposition no matter what has come at her. I wish I could be more that way. Natascha and Abigaile are both so very close and we are so blessed by that relationship that they have it is really aweosme. They do bicker, and it is most always Abigaile who starts it. That tells me that we have planted the seed of God in this child. This picture was taken at the Memphis Zoo, which by the way if you ever go to Memphis with your family or kids go hang out at the zoo. It is so clean and just really well laid out but take a couple of days to do it and enjoy the family time. This was so much fun for us just chillin' once Abigaile was discharged from the hospital. I could not do a post of Abigaile without doing a post of our sweet Natascha and she just looks so pretty in this picture. Thank you God for blessing me with two very awesome, God loving little girls and a very sweet husband that I don't know what I would do without any of them.

Keep on, Keeping on ! God is faithful

Isn't this most beautiful little girl you have ever seen? This child is full of faith and full of life! I bet you would never know that she is full care and is unable to walk on her own. In fact, she seems so normal that no one would ever know that there is anything wrong with her. That she is unable to walk, her speech is delayed, and she has multiple chemical sensitivites including food dyes, preservatives, household chemicals. Which means that she needs someone to pretty much do everything for her.
Abigaile had an adverse reaction to her 4 month old vaccines. She had multiple grand mal or clonic tonic seizures when the reaction happened. Abigaile had a 52 minute seizure that in the emergency room the attending ER Dr walked out of the room and said she would not make it. I can't tell you what that does to the pitt of your stomach. But we didn't dwell on it long, we just refused in Jesus name to accept it. We stayed on that course ever since.
I want to write the post today because I am appalled at the very system that was set up to protect our American people, the innocent, and our children and will be our grand children has more than failed. It keeps you sucked in and dependent so that you will forget that God is your provision. I have nursing experience for over 9 years and have worked in ICD9 coding with a very reputable clinic in this area. I have worked at home for the past 12 years taking care of my children. I am so very familiar with how the system works in the medical profession and how it doesn't work. You need to stand up and make your voice known that you put all of your might in the system that God designed and not our political system. I work with families a lot that have relied and depended on the system. They feel like that is the system of wealth, it is the system of wealth-less-ness! if you depend on this government system to help you, they will make you dependent, not independent of it. We have worked as foster parents trying to help families who could get back together in a system that says that is its agenda, and they work very hard and not putting families back together. It is a false sense of security the number of families we see increasing on public assistance and not Gods provision and they wonder why they never increase. If you want to see increase and not lack, take up your cross and follow God. We are in a system that has a lack of God, therefore it is not blessed and it does not support itself. I have dealt with every level and branch of government for the last 5 years and have gotten nothing. God has met our needs when we lost our job, which by the way ended up after losing each new job over 4 years each time, and put back on unemployment once we relinquished that position to God, He gave us the best job we have ever had working for an awesome company with great benefits. I sometimes think Allen is so happy at his job, he doesn't want to come home. We have a need for Abigaile and God tells He will supply our needs as well as the desires of our heart. I am having faith that we will have the mobility equipment that we need for Abigaile or Abigaile will start walking on her own and completely stop having seizures. Be faithful for God, and He will always be faithful to you. Get out, start walking the walk, and talking the talk that puts you in Favor with God and men. If you keep calling those things, not as though they are, God will reward your faithfulness. He is faithful. He is God. The creator of all things.

Abigaile walks outdoors

I just wanted to say how great our God is... We have had some equipment struggles. If you know us, you know what struggles we have had with this. It almost seems that our system doesn't want children or adults that are disable and handicapped to improve. Praise the Lord for His mercy and grace and His love endures forever! That is an eternity!
Abigaile has borrowed this kidwalk now for just about a month or two and we have tried through all of our insurance possibilites to get one. Primary insurance has refused because it is a pre-existing clause for one year and the state secondary insurance says that she doesn't need a walker. I suppose they expect her to crawl on her stomach for the rest of her life. There is not an age limit or prerequisite for a walker except they must be starting to ambulate. Anyways, our PT has let us graciously borrow this to see if Abigaile would do well in it and guess what she has taken off! She looks foward to it everday and loves having her independence. She also doesn't get hurt in it if she has a drop seizure. So we will have to wait until God shows the provision for it. She is getting very heavy to carry though I will tell you that! I want to share some pictures I took of Abigaile this morning after her therapy session of walking outside and then the therapist took the walker to let another child borrow it after therapy. The cost for this walker is close to $5000.00 after all the accessories are added to keep Abigaile safe.
